High selling bull at Perth Bull
Sale 2011, is a son of Eionmor Highlander 90P. He sold for 12,000
gns. A picture of him can be viewed at the link below, enter the beef
section, then look at the right hand side of the page,the bulls name
is Meonhill Highland Centurion.

Annual West Country Shorthorn Bull Sale @ the farm Saturday April 9,
2011 On offer 30 yearling bulls 30 open purebred yearling heifers.

25th Annual
West Country Shorthorn Bull Sale
The
West Country Shorthorn Bull Sale was very good with brisk bidding on
all animals. The Bulls averaged just over $2610 with Downsview
Shorthorns (Lloyd and Leigh Boles) of Three Hills taking home the
high priced bull at $5900. Volume buyer in the bull section was J.
& R. Little of Leslieville AB, taking home 3 bulls. Bulls sold
all over Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba.
In the heifer
section Purdy Farms of Manitoba took home 6 head of heifers and a
bull. As well Les Johnston of Markerville, AB took home 6 head. The
high selling Heifer went to T. Seaborn of Rocky Mt. House for $ 2000,
The Seaborns also took home a heifer for $ 1900. Randy Angevine of
Nova Scotia took home a heifer for $ 1900. The heifers averaged $
1400 on 32 head.
